David B. Cripps.  Attorney/CEO

I was raised in Sallisaw, OK, where my father is an attorney and judge for several municipalities and both the Cherokee and Creek Nations, and my mother is an artist.  I first attended the University of Oklahoma, and later transferred to Oklahoma State University, where I earned bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting, and met my wife, Jenny, who is a CPA and VP of Finance for an engineering company.

I then went to law school at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and completed a master's of law in taxation at the University of Washington in Seattle.   I moved to Houston in 2009 and worked for a local CPA firm until establishing Cripps Law Firm PLLC in November 2010.

Jenny and I are residents of the Heights.  However, we are currently on an expat assignment in Norway.  We expect to be back in Houston sometime in summer 2017.  We enjoy visiting new restaurants, traveling, and the arts.  I am a serious music fan, and go to many concerts and also play guitar.  But most importantly, we are the human servants for four cats (they are pictured at the bottom of the Legacy & Estate Planning page).

I am licensed to practice in all Texas state courts and United States Tax Court.
